easygeography

Privacy

Last updated: October 2026. This page explains what we collect on easygeography.com and why. Short version: as little as possible.

What we collect

If you join the early-access list, we receive the email address, role, country and message you choose to send. We use it only to tell you about the launch and to answer your questions. We never sell or rent it.

Sign-ups are stored in a private Google Sheet that only our team can access, and our welcome email is sent through Google Workspace/Gmail. Google processes this data on our behalf. If that service is unavailable, the form falls back to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards the submission to our inbox.

We also record which page you signed up from and, if present, the campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source). This helps us understand which lessons and channels are useful.

Children

EasyGeography is designed so that students never need an email address or account. Students join classes with a code and a nickname chosen in class.

Live data on this site

Your browser loads earthquake data from the US Geological Survey, space station positions from wheretheiss.at and flag images from flagcdn.com. Fonts and icons are served from our own site. These services receive standard technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests the files.

Cookies

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your light or dark theme choice is stored only in your own browser.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete anything you sent us, write to info@easygeography.com and we will reply within 30 days.
